Our favourite rootop pop-up opens today (June 30), on top of a multi-storey car park in Peckham. Supported by a well-known Italian drinks company, Frank’s Café started in 2007 and only opens for the late summer months. Besides being the coolest rooftop bar we can think of, it is also the stuff of legends – especially the toilets, which used to rival music festivals for their, err, atmosphere. We’re told they’re much improved – but we’ll still be relieving ourselves elsewhere before we visit Frank’s, if only for the queues alone – if last year is anything to go by, the first night will be a rammed. The latest Bold Tendencies show will also be opening, showcasing new sculptural work over the top four floors of the car park.
