Never tried Uyghur food? Now’s your chance. The crew behind the ‘Legends’ trade (whose stock-in-trade is peddling lesser-seen Chinese cuisines to those of us with more adventurous palates), have just opened Wulumuchi, an Uyghur restaurant on Chinatown’s Lisle Street. This cuisine, which hails from an autonomous region of northwest China is an unusual mix of Turkish staples (think lamb skewers and flatbreads) alongside more ‘typical’ Chinese fare such as noodles.
