The Canine Games

If you enjoy watching dogs running around an assault course but think that Crufts are a bunch of elitist snobs, then step this way for the 2012 Canine Games. Who doesn’t love a disobedient pup literally running around the course, wreaking havoc and being unbelievably cute? Well, Crufts, but we’re all for equality and proving your potential. On July 7, dogs from all over London are invited to Haggerston Park to participate in the games for the chance to win some fab prizes. The day will kick off with an Opening Ceremony, led by Mugly, the World’s Ugliest Dog, at 12pm before some truly testing contests, dog ownership seminars, entertainment and free microchipping begins. Pooches can enter for £6 and humans are asked to make a donation of at least £3. The day is open to owners and non-ownes alike so get ready for some serious puppy love. Carly-Ann Clements
