Tour de force: our fave London cycle cafés
The Tour de France winds up on Sunday July 22, which might inspire you to pump up your tyres, shave your legs and get a tan like a toasted whippet. But did you know there are several bike shops that also double as cafés? In one – Look Mum No Hands! – you can even pop open a beer while watching the cycle racing on big screens. The event of the season though has got to be the opening of the new Rapha pop-up shop in Soho. Rapha gear is the preferred alternative to looking like a MAMIL (middle aged man in Lycra) if you’re a stylish café racer. The new Rapha café and clothes shop opens on July 23, the day after the Tour ends.
