Just here’s fine: the life of the London cabbie
In an hour of need a taxi driver can be your best friend, saviour and favourite person in the world – only to be forgotten as soon as their brake lights fade into the horizon. One Londoner, Victoria Hannan, wanted to find out more about the lives of the anonymous heroes that pound our streets every day so she created the blog ‘Just Here’s Fine’ to bring a little insight into the Londoners who really have the knowledge just in time for the Olympics. With personal stats and short anecdotes from the drivers, the project will make you think twice about turning your iPod up to full blast next time you jump in the back of a cab. Carly-Ann Clements
