Stumbling upon historic monuments is all in a day’s work for most Londoners. Bumping into ancient architecture and medieval memorials is no big deal. But it’s not every day that we get to combine such a cultural experience with pure unadulterated fun. Thanks to the artist Jeremy Deller, capital-dwellers are invited to behold this Stonehenge – albeit, an inflatable imitation that is arguably more exciting than the real thing – outside of its Wiltshire habitat and engage in a spot of ‘Sacrilege’. On its journey around the country as part of the London 2012 Festival, Deller’s life-size bouncy castle replica will have Londoners jumping themselves silly across the capital until August 12.
