99 problems but the Games ain’t one

Tiny Games

From Saturday July 28, Londoners might find themselves occupied by a new form of street entertainment other than ‘Dodge the Tourist’ and ‘Guess the Nationality’. Capitalising on the competitiveness currently saturating the city, 99 Tiny Games have been peppered over London’s 33 boroughs as part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad. Spot a game, read the rules and be on your path to (potential) victory. What better way to compensate for not winning Olympic gold than by thrashing a stranger at a game of Twickers – a battle in which the strongest twig wins? The high street is your stadium and shoppers are your adoring fans. Bolt-esque victory dance not compulsory. Natalie Gil
