Why do sports have to be so serious? First Euro 2012, then Wimbledon and now the Olympics. Don’t think our nerves can take much more sporting pressure. Thankfully, Queen of Hoxton is hosting a ‘silly sports day’ to bring the joy back into sport. On July 28, from 12 The Social Athletics Club will be commandeering the spacious rooftop to bring you ‘No Sweat!’ The day will see 10 teams of 50 contenders competing in 15 sporting events, all in the hopes of winning one trophy. It doesn’t matter if you’re good at table tennis, weightlifting or tiddlywinks, there’s going to be something that you can conquer. Teams have already been allocated but sure you can take part somehow. Or if that all feels a bit too much, then just sit back and watch the big screen. Carly-Ann Clements
