Diva dance off: win tickets to the premiere of ‘Leave It On The Floor’

Posted at 3:00 pm, July 30, 2012 in Arts & Entertainment, Competition

If you like ‘Paris is Burning’, ‘Glee’, ‘Street Dance 2′ and Madonna’s ‘Vogue’, you are going to love the camp, kitsch hilarity that is Sheldon Larry’s new musical ‘Leave It On The Floor’. This is a fictional LA version of ‘Paris is Burning’ where young Brad is turfed out of home by his homophobic mum and ends up in the ‘House of Eminence’ ruled by Queef Latina. Expect voguing, divas, wigs, tears, glitter, Beyonce, dancing, drama queens, drag and a lot of strutting. If this sounds like fun, you’d probably give your sequin body suit to go to the premiere on Wednesday August 1 at the Leicester Square Theatre at 6.30pm. The audience with be split up in different Houses, dressing up will be encouraged and we have a pair of tickets to give away. All you need to do is email onlineeditorial@timeout.com and tell us the name of one of the Houses from ‘Paris is Burning’ by 5pm on Tuesday July 31. The winner will be chosen at random. Good luck!
