Flocking like bees to Honey & Co
This little Israeli-run café and takeaway only has a few seats, but they’re the most sought-after in Fitzrovia. The Middle Eastern dishes and baking transported us to Tel Aviv and the lands surrounding Israel. The siniya, a mixture of ground lamb and tahini cooked like a lasagne, used a Levantine spice mixture that went well with a cool drink of orange blossom iced tea. The cakes, enticingly displayed in the window, are true eye-candy. Many customers opt for takeaway as the place is so small, but bookings are taken; opening for dinner is planned. Guy Dimond
