In pictures: today’s #FreePussyRiot protests
As the court verdict was announced today in Russia and members of feminist political band Pussy Riot were found guilty of hooliganism motivated by religious hatred and sentenced to two years in a prison colony, Londoners rallied at the Royal Court theatre and gathered outside the Russian Embassy to show their support. The three women have already spent five months in prison after a guerrilla performance in Moscow’s main cathedral.
