Fat of the land: Lardo opens near London Fields
Lardo, as you clearly already know, is the cured back fat of rare-breed pigs, a white slab of grease scented with herbs that’s highly prized by the Italians. You’ll be pleased to know that the fabled fat makes a sporadic appearance alongside pizza and charcuterie at this all-day eatery which opened a few weeks ago in the hip Arthaus studio/gallery/apartment complex just off Mare Street.
