Last chance have a wander around the Olympic Park until 2014
You might not have managed to bag any tickets to the actual Olympic or Paralympic events but aren’t you a tiny bit curious about the swanky new Olympic Park? Tickets have just gone on sale for Park entry during the Paralympic Games where you can take a leisurely stroll, chat to international supporters, admire the flowers, buy some extortionately priced food and laze on a grassy knoll watching the live coverage unfold on a big screen. It’s the next best thing to actually being in the stadium. And like most of the Olympic/Paralympic tickets, these will probably sell out soon/be annoyingly hard to actually purchase so start trying now otherwise you’ll have to wait until 2014 when the Park reopens to the public.
