With cinema becoming an ever-growing part of our lives, we all have a single image in our head that defines our favourite film. With this in mind, Print Club London asked illustrators (including designers and street artists) to create a screenprint inspired by a movie without referencing the film’s title. After receiving over 1,000 entries, the final 40 have been selected to create ‘BLISTERS – The Directors Cut’ on August 31 and September 1. The work on show take inspiration from ‘Up’, ‘Star Wars’, ‘Back to the Future’ and many more and all prints will be sold at a very affordable fee of £40. If a night of reminiscent recollection or film buff in-jokes wasn’t enough, the opening night at the incredible MC Motors warehouse will see a feast of film screenings, film-themed cocktails, hotdogs and popcorn, obvs. Carly-Ann Clements
