Everyone loves David Bowie and if you don’t then you’re clearly jealous of how good he looks in a pair of tights. Even at 65 (and a six year gap since his last live performance), David Bowie is still a tour de force in the world of pop and style but it’s easy to forget that ‘The Labyrinth’ wasn’t his only venture into the world of the cinema. This weekend sees the first Bowiefest at the ICA: three days dedicated to the great man’s varied career in film, with screenings, talks and Q&As, showing everything from ‘Absolute Beginners’ to ‘Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence’.
