And on the seventh day…. Anna Wintour created Vogue Fashion’s Night Out – an occasion which allows us civilians the chance to experience life in fashion’s fast lane. Champagne receptions, goody bags, money-off discounts, photo booths and pampering freebies will come thick and fast as you visit participating stores dotted across London, all with the aim to get us shop-happy again (as if we weren’t already). The heaps of events have left us frantically trying to plan our route so we don’t miss out on the best fashionista action, and you’d be wise to do the same.
Be sure to stop off in Mayfair where Christian Louboutin will be launching his new exclusive Dragon Tattoo shoe and hosting a fortune-telling parlour, or Chanel, where two industry heavy weights will be offering their words of wisdom about the brand. In Conduit Street, Vivienne Westwood will be serving cocktails and canapés and treating punters to live entertainment and a limited-edition gift with every purchase; while over at Burlington Arcade Night at the Circus will be a spectacle to behold. Other stores roped into the action include Liberty, Cos, Anya Hindmarch, Diptyque, Tiffany & Co, Oliver Sweeney and tonnes more. Josh Minopoli
