Although London can sometimes feel rather grey and full of sharp edges, we all know that underneath the concrete facade it’s a vibrant city full of colour and life. Artist Hartwig Braun has managed to bring out London’s playful side with his bright and cheerful interpretation of our sometimes monochrome streets in his Arty Globe series. The stylised, somewhat geographically inaccurate illustrations show London in its truest state: varied, surreal, striking and fun. Braun’s illustrations are currently available to view and purchase from the Arty Globe gallery in Greenwich. Carly-Ann Clements
