Love Music, Hate Racism is celebrating a decade of tuneful anti-fascism today (Sept 15) at Rich Mix. With debates hosted by ‘Show Racism the Red Card’ and ‘Love Music Hate Homophobia, talks from leading authors, screenings of ‘The Clash: Westway to the World’ and ‘ The Battle of Cable Street’ followed by Q&As, and much more besides, there’ll be plenty of food for thought during the vibrant and diverse afternoon. If you want to continue the celebrations into the night, there’ll be a party and gig to mark the 10th anniversary of LMHR featuring live performances from Jerry Dammers, Mike Rosen, Drew McConnell, Mark Steel, Zita Holbourne, Don Letts and Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly. So head down from 1pm to celebrate multiculturalism and join the fight against racism.
