Rumour has it that there’s something fishy going on at Ridley Road Market in Dalston. Well, after reading the reports we wish it was actually fishy. According to the BBC, butchers in the area have been selling unlicensed meat and other delicacies that may make your stomach turn. Bush meat known as ‘grass-cutter’ (though it looks suspiciously like a rat to us – see the furry fella above), has allegedly been purchased from two African butchers with other locations suspected of dealing with potentially contaminated meats. We’re sure that in a post-apocalyptic, zombie-infested world, a bit of rat would go down a treat, but this is making us want to go vegetarian. Carly-Ann Clements
