Boris Bikes roll into southwest London

More Boris Bikes stumble into southwest London

Get excited southwest London, Boris is coming your way. No, sorry, not BoJo himself, but his trusty Barclays Bikes. Last week, TfL announced that more bikes and docking stations will be launched in Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, Wandsworth and Lambeth from Spring 2014. The scheme aims to put another 2,000 bikes on the road making cycle hire accessible to more Londoners. With the scheme spreading across uncharted territory, we predict even more monkey business to take place: perhaps Spin Class Flash Mobs, a Santa Dash or maybe just more sweaty bums on seats at the next Naked Bike Ride. Either that or it may well teach you how to be a modern gentleman. Whatever the result, we want to know what the future holds for the Boris Bike. Will there be tandems for all or more customised bikes? Or will they still be the coolest accessory (according to One Direction). You decide. Carly-Ann Clements
