Life in a Box

Do you live online or IRL? If you know what that acronym means then you’re probably lying to yourself about living in the real world… or maybe not. Steve, a 29-year-old personal trainer, has been challenged to live in a shop window in Elizabeth Street, SW1W (from 7am-7pm) sourcing his furniture, food and entertainment through the internet with help from people on Twitter and Facebook. So far, he has procured a sofa, received food and lead a live workout class online, though the lack of same day delivery has posed a slight, unforeseen problem. Steve will be given daily challenges and today he is trying to collect celebrity autographs to auction off at the end of the week. The experiment (run by Experian) aims to help us understand internet safety and our general day-to-day online activity as well as raising money for charity. Carly-Ann Clements
