For anyone interested in sculpted cakes or edible weaponry The Experimental Food Society Spectacular in Canary Wharf is the place to be on November 16 and 17. Back for its third year, this event showcases work by some of the ‘culinary artists’ who belong to the creative collective. Highlights this year include a replica of the Rialto Bridge in Venice made out of pasta and glasses being blown from sugar. There will also be a ‘British Icon’ themed five-course banquet at the Cook Book Café on November 19, and a talk about the Spectacular at the V&A on November 23.
