There’s no hope left at Smithfield Market

Well, it’s pretty much inevitable. At some point in our lifetime we’re all going to become flesh-eating zombies so we might as well get used to the taste now, right? Maybe not. But for those with a carnivorous hunger and a macabre sense of humour, then we’ve got something for you. To celebrate the launch of Resident Evil 6, a pop-up morgue and ‘human butchery’ will open in Smithfield Market this Friday and Saturday (September 28-29) where patrons will be encouraged to sample and buy an array of edible human limbs, with all the money going to the the Limbless Association. And if you’re a fan of the game, there are lectures at the St. Bartholomew’s Hospital Pathology Museum which will explore some of the themes covered in the series. Carly-Ann Clements
