We may all complain about the tube from time to time but there’s one thing that we definitely love about it: the map. It seems that our dear old colourful guide has become something of a muse, inspiring everyone from the Deviant Artist to those world renowned, and to celebrate, the London Transport Museum is hosting a one day event dedicated to The Art of Maps and Mapping. On Saturday (September 29), artists including Simon Patterson and Jeremy Wood will be giving talks and discussions along with experts from the London Transport Museum. Tickets cost £30 and include lunch, refreshments and a visit to the Mind the Map exhibition. Carly-Ann Clements
