Our list of 100 best dishes in London is a sure fire way to get you hungry. Sweet, savoury, spicy, fancy, cheap, exotic and classic – this is one hell of an edible bucket list. As if that wasn’t enough to get your mouthwatering, we’ve also asked some of London’s best food bloggers to pick their fave dishes in the capital. Today its the turn of the London Eater, whose top ten included such tantalising delights such as Roasted turbot, braised oxtail, cockles and samphire at Odette’s, and just for you we asked him to tell us more about his absolute favourite…

O’Shea’s Angus rib-eye steak at Goodman Mayfair
‘If I really had to pick a favourite meal, then it has got to be a steak dinner. For me, there are few experiences which beat a juicy, charcoal-infused, dictionary-thick slab of beef, perhaps a well-hung, well-marbled O’Shea’s Angus rib-eye steak, cooked medium-rare with béarnaise, chips and boiled spinach. Pair it with a nice claret (say Domaine de Chevalier Rouge ’04) and you have a meal that is near enough a timeless pleasure.’
