A storm is coming at Secret Cinema

Secret Cinema

Secret Cinema is back in town from October 31 to December 2. If you’ve been along to one of their events before you’ll know the drill. You don’t know what film you’re watching until the night. Everyone meets at a mystery location dressed up as instructed and troops off to the venue – which has been transformed to look like a set from the movie – while actors play characters from the world you’re immersed in. Secret Cinema pulled off a cracker with their last production; ‘Prometheus’ took place in an a vast abandoned warehouse near Euston, and 25,000 Londoners signed up as employees of Brave New Ventures. What can they possibly have dreamt up this time? So far we have heard that there will be a Secret Gallery and have one cryptic line to go on: ‘A message from the State of Oakhampton: a storm is coming, but we have hope and beauty.’ Answers on a postcard.
