Lets Talk Cancer: Pop up shops turn educational

Talk Cancer

A pop-up shop offering advice and information on cancer has just opened in a shopping mall in Croydon (until November 4). You’ll be relieved to know that shop in the Centrale Centre isn’t actually selling cancer, but is instead part of a greater London-wide initiative about ‘Getting to know cancer’. Staffed by nurses and specialists from Cancer Research and local hospital the Royal Marsden, the shop is the scheme’s first foray into retail spaces, and will be later joined by a second, similar venture in Haringey. Pop in and it could even be a life-saving shopping spree. Matthew Bremner
