Harrods opens its new Disney pop-up boutique today
Pink, sparkly and a girly haven, the new Harrods Disney pop-up shop, complete with Princess Parlour, opens today on the fourth floor. The 7,000 sq ft space includes a special dress-up area decked with every princess outfit going from Snow White onwards, plus there’s a Cinderella Slipper salon with dazzling limited-edition shoes in baby to mum sizes, from £24.95. It’s not all glitter and mini-gladrags though – for boys there’s a special Disney/Pixar corner with plenty of Toy Story and Cars toys, accessories and costumes including the ever-popular Buzz Lightyear outfit. Helpfully, there’s an ‘Activity Zone’ for when inevitable tantrum time kicks in. We admit it’s not doing much for gender stereotyping (look away, Pinkstinks) but we can bet it will make your five year old’s week.
