Upset about the demise of Eureka magazine? Pissed that Felix Baumgartner didn’t make that skydive from the edge of space? Fear not, science fans, for Science London, a volunteer-led organisation that organises science-y events for adults, is putting on a Space Day. Following on from previous hovercraft and dinosaur craft sessions (upset we missed those), Space Day is taking place this Sunday October 14 at Drink, Shop & Do in King’s Cross. This free day promises an otherworldly spread of space-related creativity including origami (pink phallic spaceshuttle, anyone?), crafts, film, rocket building workshops and talks from space experts, it’s set to re-ignite your childhood’s astronaut-based dreams.
