Is every post-Olympic trip to Stratford station tinged with sadness now that you aren’t welcomed by megaphone touting, foam-hand waving London Ambassador? If so, you’ll be delighted to hear that the London Ambassadors (aka the Games Makers) will be returning to the capital with their infectious warmth, enthusiasm and red/purple outfits. Head to the Eurostar at St Pancras Station at 8am tomorrow morning as they’ll be back with a ‘musical surprise’ (!) for commuters in the first of a series of pilots reintroducing them for upcoming sporting events and busy holiday periods. I’m not going to lie, it’ll be great to see their smiling faces again, but it feels perhaps like we should be the ones singing to welcome them back instead of the other way round. Sonya Barber
