In the infamous words of Fat Man Scoop – ‘single ladies – make noise!’ For those of you who have experienced the trials and tribulations of photoshopped profile pictures or the over enthusiastic use of poetic licence on internet dating sites, this could be just the ticket. Put away the horror films, don your glad rags and head to Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen for Slagbox’s Halloween singles’ night with a twist; bring a single friend of the opposite sex, take a number, and scan the stickered dancefloor for potential bump ‘n’ grind buddies. Once you have identified a potential suitor(s), write a cheeky note to them, using their number (you can choose to include or omit your own) before slotting it into the SLAGBOX. They will then be read out during Round 1 (10pm) or Round 2 (12am) of the night, before the slow dance kicks partners into action. You can’t put a price on love… well maybe you can, but its only £5.
