If you have ever had the pleasure of visiting Time Out Towers, you will know that we are no strangers to Jackson Pollock-style splashes. Every day we casually stroll and manically pace upon a Pollock inspired carpet print* and I for one am very fond of it (other Time Out opinion may vary). My daily encounter with this iconic painting style has me sufficiently excited about the Tate Modern’s new show ‘ A Bigger Splash: Painting After Performance’ opening on November 14. Pollock is in the mix for this group show, alongside other ‘action’ painters and artists who use paint theatrically, including Cindy Sherman, Niki de St Phalle and Jack Smith. You’ll never look at a paint splash in the same way again.
