Ever fancied having a go at de-boning a leg of lamb? Well, you’re in luck. Quality Standard beef and lamb are putting on a couple of butchery courses in Acton on November 17 to help you get the hang of some basic techniques. Fronted by Danny Lidgate of Lidgates Butchers in Holland Park, the two-hour classes will include tips on how to choose a good quality meat, demonstrations on different cuts of lamb and beef and what to do with them, plus a chance to butterfly a leg of lamb, which you get to take home at the end of the class. At £25 it’s a bit of a bargain.
