New Chelsea bar shows you a Honky Tonk time
If you think you’re gonna find a little slice of Memphis right here on the fringes of Chelsea, think again. But what Honky Tonk lacks in straight-up authenticity, it compensates for with super-friendly young staff, take-no-prisoners cocktails, and a crowd-pleasing playlist of good-time music. Being just off the stretch between Fulham and Chelsea known as ‘The Beach’, it fits right in with the local demographic: that is, looking for big fun, rather than bona fide. Tania Ballantine
