A few weeks ago, we asked you to help us review the state of film in 2012, and we haven’t been able to shut you up ever since. So far, nearly half of you have told us talking is the cinema habit you find most annoying; one of you told us it’s people in tall hats. We’ve discovered salted popcorn is more popular than sweet, and that two thirds of you think that 3D is just a fad. More importantly, in a fight between Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hiddleston, 15% of you would plump for the ‘Thor’ man while 20% would take a punt on Sherlock, leaving a hefty 65% of you who think it’d just end in an awkward man-cuddle on the floor. Talking of which, 30% of you think there’s too much violence on screen, compared to 60% who think there’s just the right amount. Only 10% of you are hungry for more (clearly you didn’t read our autumn horror film guide).
If you haven’t had your say yet, get a move on – we’re wrapping the whole thing up on Sunday November 18. You can get involved by completing the poll below, or by visiting our dedicated Time Out film debate 2012 page. Keep your eyes peeled for the results at the end of November.
