The Blogmistress down the Aldywch tunnels.

Underground aficionados will be excited to hear that the long-disused Aldwych tube station will soon be open for tours once more. Operated by London Transport Museum over two weekends (Nov 30-Dec 2 & Dec 7-9), the visits will cost you £18 – £25 each, with entry to the Museum included. Evening tours include a performance by the TfL choir (we didn’t know they had one either) and a spot of mulled wine, cider or tea. Lovely.

Read about our visit last year or book your tickets from 10am today (Mon, Nov 19) at ltmuseum.co.uk.
