Want to end violence against women? Of course you do. If you’re a woman and free tonight (Nov 24), wrap up warm and head to Whitehall Place at 6pm to get ready to Reclaim the Night. The annual women-only march is back for its ninth year and now with cuts threatening the refuge and rape crisis centres across the country, there’s never been a better time to march for a violence-free society. You’ll walk through central London, blocking off lots of main roads (which always feels empowering), before heading into the Camden Centre in Kings Cross for a mixed gender rally, with speakers, food, booze, music and dancing. Bring a homemade placard (if you are feeling creative) and bring your mum, grandma, sister, daughter, aunt and niece. Sonya Barber
