Prince Harry bares all in Charing Cross gay bar

Prince Harry mural at Manbar by Mike Bliss

Quite surprisingly, this year has seen the royal family splashed across the news even more than last year, proving that everyone loves a bit of gossip after a wedding. Between the Diamond Jubilee, the Queen’s cameo appearance as a Bond girl and a few slightly less becoming expositions of royal extra-curricular activities, we’ve seen more of the Windsors over the past 12 months than we ever could have dreamed of, literally, or perhaps wanted to. While the public showed their support by getting their nips out for Kate after the media faux pas, one artist has paid homage to another bare-chested royal. Charing Cross gay bar Manbar has commissioned Mike Bliss to create a huge mural of Prince Harry inspired by his topless game of rugby in Afghanistan in 2008. Now we can’t be certain, but we suspect Harry’s Las Vegas adventures may have somewhat led to the saucy painting. We can’t think of a better tribute to the people’s prince. Carly-Ann Clements
