Where in the capital can you drive a Northern Line train, visit a defunct ‘ghost’ station and gawp at the model of a pile of poo that Victorian horse-drawn buses generated? The answer, is the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden. But its future is under threat after the recent decision by TfL to slash 25% of its grant to the museum over the next four years. Combined with the loss of a £1m Arts Council grant, this amounts to a massive drop in its revenue. There is a demonstration to support the museum on December 12.
