Fried chicken is the cheapest meat on any high street, advertised in bright lights at disconcertingly low prices. Battery-farmed and saturated in fat and salt, it has come to epitomise what’s wrong with our fast food culture. But it doesn’t have to be be that way. Wishbone in Brixton use free-range chicken and good quality ingredients throughout, in a hole-in-the-wall setting in Brixton market.
