Wooly inspiration for Save the Children #xmasjumperday

Supermodel Erin O'Connor models a Christmas jumper for Save the Children

For better or hipster, the novelty Christmas jumper has made a come back like no other fashion trend in recent years… well, that’s a bit of a lie, but it doesn’t make the wearing of a quirky, festive knit any less cool. This year, there are more jolly threads on the market than ever, making buying one pretty much inevitable. And if you need a little nudge toward taking the woolly plunge then what better excuse is there than doing it for charity? Save the Children’s #xmasjumperday aims to raise money to help children around the world. All they ask is that you and your colleagues don a Christmas jumper on Friday December 14 and donate at least £1 to the charity. Everyone from supermodel Erin O’Connor (above) to news presenter Jon Snow can be seen sporting designs from the Sarah Lund to the Elf, so we thought we’d have a look at some of the good, bad and everything in between that will brighten not only your day but help vulnerable children everywhere. Carly-Ann Clements
