It’s been over 15 years since ‘girl power’ swept the nation but on Tuesday night, the message didn’t quite flood the West End. The much anticipated show ‘Viva Forever’ – written by Jennifer Saunders and inspired by Spice Girls songs – opened to the general public and received a blanket of bad reviews from critics all over London. But thanks to the 90s teen-pop feminist in us, we can’t help but feel like we can take the good with the bad, like we have throughout the whole of the Spice Girls’ career… Carly-Ann Clements
