According to the managing director of department store chain John Lewis, London’s buses blight Oxford Street. The appropriately named Andy Street has claimed that the constant wall of red buses pose the biggest threat to businesses on London’s busiest street, and has demanded that something be done to ensure Oxford Street retains its global status as one of the world’s foremost shopping thoroughfares. Mr Street has called for the vehicles to be rerouted, limiting the number of buses that can use Oxford Street, and opening up an alternative route. Jonno Hopkins
