What does the way you dance say about you? Britain’s only dance psychologist, Dr Peter Lovatt, might have some ideas about that, ideas that go deeper than two left feet/zero coordination/you’re one hot momma (delete as appropriate). Lovatt dedicates himself to the study of dance, from mating tool to memory aid to health booster, and he’ll be sharing some of the science at a special School of Life session at the lovely Old Finsbury Town Hall on January 25. As befits the subject matter, this is not just a sit-down lecture: expect to get your booty moving.

PS. Ahead of the event, Time Out’s dance editor Lyndsey Winship will be applying some of Lovatt’s theories to her own life, pick up a copy on Jan 22 to find out the results.
