Discover your inner geek at the Festival of Spoken Nerd

Posted at 2:15 pm, January 19, 2013 in Arts & Entertainment, Technology

Were you disappointed when you found out that ‘Life of Pi‘ wasn’t about maths? Did you snort milk out of your nose when you heard the rules for ‘Rock-Paper-Scissors-Lizard-Spock‘? Well then, have we got an event for you. All you good humoured, sci-curious out there are invited to a night of comedy, science and blatant geekery with songstress Helen Arney, stand-up mathematician Matt Parker and ‘Blue Peter’ science expert Steve Mould for a night of megabits and giggles at the Bloomsbury Theatre this Monday and Tuesday (Jan 21 and 22). With experiments, educational songs and audience participation, it’s time to dust off those lensless glasses, whack on the lab coat and prepare yourself for a night of awkward free laughter. Tickets start at £12 which is a small price to pay to quench your curious thirst. Carly-Ann Clements
