Find out why you’re such a tosser at the Sleep and Dreams lecture

Posted at 2:00 pm, January 22, 2013 in Technology

Sleeping. It’s secretly everyone’s favourite hobby. We all do it for as long as possible every day but how much do we actually know about it? What exactly is sleep anyway and why do we do it? Why can’t we remember anything about last night’s dream except that there was a giant kitten with lasers shooting out of its eyes? Does that dream about your former boss actually mean anything? There are just too many questions left unanswered. Luckily, Professor Glenn D Wilson is here to help us discover the truth about that eight hour (if you’re lucky) period that you can’t really account for tonight (Jan 22) at the Museum of London from 6pm. The event is free with no need to book, just turn up bright and alert, trying not to mistake the lecture for a practical class by falling asleep in the back. Carly-Ann Clements
