Hard Rock Calling and Wireless Festival to move to Olympic Park
Following on from Live Nation’s announcement earlier this month that the Olympic Stadium will host a series of gigs this July comes the news that this summer Wireless Festival and Hard Rock Calling will also be taking place on the sporting site in Stratford instead of the usual Hyde Park. Rumours have it that the relationship between Live Nation and the Royal Parks Agency was strained after troubles last year including the music being silenced before performers had finished their sets and complaints from residents about disruption to the community. In other Olympic Park news, West Ham Football Club are also currently working on terms to secure a deal which could make the Olympic Stadium their home ground. Watch this space…
