There is such a thing as a free facial

African red tea, honey and blueberries – no, not a new line of Innocent Smoothies but the ingredients list for some of master facialist Ole Henriksen’s key ingredients. For three days only (Jan 29-31), this natural skincare specialist is offering weary shoppers a free ‘No Noise’ facial, inspired by Selfridges’ own low-branding campaign. All you have to do is pop in to the department store on Oxford Street, and on a table surrounded by fresh fruits and label-free products, you can choose between a vitamin–C rich Pure Truth facial, or a skin re-surfacing Lemon Strip Peel. Both treatments promise to hydrate and revitalise your skin, whilst giving you a welcome pitstop in the chaos of W1 shopping. For an all-round ‘sensory’ experience, Ole Henriksen therapists will be hand squeezing fresh orange juice to ‘evoke aromas’ and ‘heighten’ your experience. Just try not to lick your face when lying there.

For info, see Ole Henriksen No Noise Facial listing.
