Puppy stolen in east London

If the police knocked on your door after midnight on a Thursday, what would you do? Some would refuse to open the door, others would remember to put the chain on before poking their head out. Most of us would open the door to find out what the heck was going on. Unfortunately, this act cost two east Londoners their mobile phones, laptop and a four month old puppy. Three men posing as police officers forced their way into the Waltham Forest house hitting one occupant with an axe and punching the other in the face before leaving with the white and tan American Bulldog pup apparently worth £2,000. Local police are appealing for anyone with information to contact Detective Constable Jack from Waltham Forest Burglary and Robbery Team on 020 8721 5042. Let’s try and bring this pooch home. Pet owners, be safe out there. Carly-Ann Clements

Call 020 8721 5042 with any information or to remain anonymous, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
