Globalisation undoubtedly has its problems, but the melding of different cuisines at this Regents Park Road newcomer is handled with impressive skill and care. East meets West, in a good way. On our visit, the kitchen produced a sparkling array of dishes, including sashimi-like sea bream drizzled with passionfruit pulp, kitchari (a modish version of the southern Indian lentil and rice dish), and an elegant tarte tatin – all delicious. The only downer is that the place is already heaving with Primrose Hill mummies and their not-always-cherubic offspring, so time your visit carefully. Before 3pm, simpler breakfast fare is served.
